According to the reports that are being published by media channels, a YouTuber named Maridhas was reportedly arrested by Chennai cyber crime Police on June 8.
This YouTuber had been very critical of the Vijay administration in Tamil Nadu and he had been posting a series of videos on his YouTube channel on this matter.
This series of event has reportedly reached the top administration of Vijay government and the YouTuber is facing the consequences for the same as he was arrested at his house in Madurai earlier today.
This guy posted on Twitter that he was arrested and her questionable circumstances as 10 police officials who had travelled from Chennai had reached his house in Madurai and took him into custody.
People are already commenting that it is not good on the part of the chief minister Vijay to arrest a YouTuber just for the sake that he is criticising his political moves. They are of the opinion that this is a democratic country and people can have opinions and criticism on those in power.
It is being established that such usage of power could lead to consequences and such activities are not expected of young and dynamic chief minister like Vijay, who promised different breed of politics.
