God seem to be kind on Andhra Pradesh these days. In a recent boon to the deficit budget state, the Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation (APMDC) has found out 100 Crore tonnes of high calorific value coal in Chintalapudi, West Godavari. Officials have told the Chief Minister that this coal will be helpful in Power production and Chandra Babu Naidu immediately ordered Geological Survey of India (GSI) to do a survey in the region.
Andhra Pradesh is suffering from acute shortage of coal for Power production and this will come as a boon to the state. The Chief Minister is a delighted man and ordered the officials to complete the survey as soon as possible and begin the digging of the coal. APGENCO, APMDC and GSI will work hand in hand for the survey of the coal in the region.
