World Bank in association with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) reportedly in principal agreed to give a 15,000 Crore loan to Amaravati.
A delegation of 10 people from the World Bank and ADB will visit the capital extensively from the 19th to the 27th of this month.
The state government and CRDA officials will discuss various aspects related to loan sanctions.
It is known that a four-member World Bank team visited Amaravati from the 10th to the 12th of this month and had a meeting with Chief Minister Chandrababu too.
This loan once approved will be a shot in the arm of the Amaravati project and will register significant progress.
If the same pace continues, Amaravati will have reasonable shape by the next election, and from there, there is no chance of Thuglaq’s decisions like changing capital in the future.
The World Bank has come forward to give a loan of Rs.3,500 crore in the first tranche along with AIIB for capital construction before 2019.
After the necessary process was completed, the process was stopped when the Government changed.
The then Chief Minister Jagan told the Central Finance Department that there was no need for a loan for Amaravati.
Later, we saw Jagan play a cruel game with Amaravati in the name of three capitals.
Karma has come back to bite YSR Congress due to the way he tortured the Amaravati farmers.
