2000 KMS Of Padayatra: Lokesh’s Journey Without CBN’s Help

Nara-Lokesh-2000-KMSNara Lokesh has completed 2000 Kilometers of his Yuvagalam Padayatra. This is 50% of the actual 4000 Kilometers target and he had finished Rayalaseema and is now in Nellore district. If time permits, Lokesh is likely to walk over 4000 Kilometers to cover the remaining districts of Coastal Andhra.

It is interesting to note Lokesh did not take a single day of leave in over 150 days he walked.

The only break was for festivals, Taraka Ratna’s final rites, and the election code. Lokesh continued the walk even when his feet developed blisters and even with a high fever.

The best part of the Padayatra is Lokesh continuously in the people. The day begins with interactions with people, taking grievances, giving selfies for 100s of people every day, and then continuing the Padayatra.

Never there is a moment of anger or irritation showing up on his face. Probably, that persistence is winning the support of the people.

In the initial days, the government tried to foil the padayatra with the help of the Police, but as the support of the people increase, they are not even attempting that.

On the first day of the Padyatra, YSR Congress was sure it would fail. They were waiting for the day so that they can mock Lokesh and TDP. Initially, they would show photos of poor response in Chittoor district but they are no longer getting the chance.

Lokesh got the highest response in Rayalaseema not in Anantapur district where TDP is strong, it was Kadapa that shocked everyone. It is something unimaginable for anyone in AP politics.

They were even waiting to see Lokesh falter in his speeches so that they can mock him as a Pappu. He deprived them even of that opportunity.

The best part of this journey is Lokesh did not use his father. It is interesting to note Chandrababu did not attend the Padayatra on a single day right from Day-1. After that send-off from Hyderabad, it was Lokesh all alone.

In fact, Lokesh being in the people continuously helped Chandrababu have enough time to concentrate on the party affairs and to finalize the candidates of all constituencies.

With this visible hard work, if TDP wins in 2024, there would be no one to question Lokesh’s eligibility when he gets important responsibilities.
