Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to file his nomination for the upcoming general elections on April 22.
Meanwhile, the details of his criminal charges are now going viral on social media, ahead of his nomination. According to Jagan’s affidavit from the 2019 elections, there are a total of 146 criminal charges against him. Retired IPS officer and former CBI director, M. Nageshwara Rao, shared these details on X.

As per Jagan’s 2019 affidavit, 38 criminal cases were pending against him. 11 of them were CBI cases and seven were filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). 21 of them were filed in 2011. Even after 13 years, there is no progress in some of these cases.
Nageshwara Rao wondered whether notorious criminals such as Dawood Ibrahim could amass such massive criminal cases against them.

He also added that Dawood is a stupid fellow who ran away from the country. “Had he stayed back and joined politics he would have definitely become CM of Maharashtra, and by rigging the criminal justice system his criminal enterprise would have flourished with state support,” added Nageshwara Rao.
