Vemuri Radhakrishna, ABN Andhrajyothy MD, was called to give testimony in the phone-tapping case by the SIT officials. Accordingly, Radhakrishna or RK appeared before SIT officials at their Jubilee Hills office on Friday morning.
Radhakrishna gave his testimony for an hour. As RK’s name was in the list of numbers found with SIB call detail records, he was called to give a statement.

SIT has taken statements from 257 people so far and are likely to question some more people in the case. Today, Chevella MP Vishweswar Reddy was also called to give his testimony.
It is known that phones of several politicians, businessmen, film personalities and journalists were tapped by the BRS government. Prabhakar Rao, the chief of SIB was found to be the brain behind the operation.

However, it hasn’t been established as to whom the information was passed on to by Prabhakar Rao. The case has captivated the interest of Telangana citizens and AP citizens as it has emerged that phones of politicians in Andhra were also tapped.
