Accident at PM Modi Kurnool meeting

PM Modi’s visit to Kurnool turned tragic when an accident struck at the Super GST–Super Savings meeting venue. The event, attended by Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh, drew massive crowds from across the region.

Despite the government’s arrangements for a smooth event, one person lost his life due to an electric shock at the Nannuru venue. Two others sustained serious injuries in the incident.

The deceased, Arjun, aged 28, was a resident of Munagalapadu in Kurnool district. Around 400 acres had been allocated for the meeting, and several workers were busy tying banners and putting up flags.

While fixing a flag, Arjun lifted an iron rod that accidentally touched a nearby high-tension wire. He and two others suffered electric shocks. Locals immediately alerted the electricity department and shifted the injured to Kurnool Government Hospital.

Doctors confirmed that Arjun was dead on arrival. The other two remain in critical condition. Despite heavy security and planning, no one noticed the danger from the overhead wires, which tragically cost a young life.
