Bollywood actress, and Gajini fame, Jiah Khan’s suicide case has been one of the most talked about topics in Indian cinema for a long time now.
The Mumbai CBI Court has now passed the final orders on the case in connection with the accused, and late Jiah’s then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi.
The CBI court has announced that Sooraj has been acquitted in connection with the case. He is allowed to walk free from the case as the CBI, today, announced that there is no hard evidence to prove Sooraj abetted the suicide.
This brings an end to the decade-long legal tussle from Jiah’s mother who had accused Sooraj of abetting the suicide.
For those who don’t know, Jiah is a New York-born actress and she hoped to make it big in Bollywood. She was seen as the second female lead in Gajini. While busyin films, she fell in love with Sooraj and they were often seen together. But all of a sudden, Jiah committed suicide in her flat in Mumbai on 3 June, 2023.
In her 6-age suicide note, Jiah had mentioned that she is committing suicide due to the complications in her live-in relationship with Sooraj.
