A few weeks ago, Tollywood character artist Shrikanth Iyengar playfully poked fun at the Andhra Pradesh government’s alleged involvement in introducing subpar liquor brands.
He used humor in a social media video to announce his intention to try “Bira Boom” beer in Vijayawada, indirectly implying doubts about the alcohol’s quality and safety in the region.
Following this, Shrikanth revealed that he faced severe online harassment from YSRCP supporters who accused him of tarnishing Jagan’s government’s reputation. Even his wife became a target, with threats of rape.
In his latest tweet, Shrikanth once again took a light-hearted jab at the YSRCP government. He expressed aspirations to star in a blockbuster film, excel in golf rather than cricket, and earn a President’s Medal for himself.
It’s worth noting that the name “President Medal” for a whisky brand has sparked controversy in Andhra Pradesh, with many on social media criticizing the YCP Government for potentially diminishing the honor associated with the President’s name.
In his latest video, Shrikanth humorously continues to satirize YS Jagan’s government. We have to see if YCP will unleash their bots army on Shrikanth once again or not.
