Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu usually withholds his MLA and MP candidates announcements till the last minute. He likes assessing all his options till the very last gasp. But things have changed now and he is particularly proactive.
Now, the stage is prepared for the announcement of the first list of MLA candidates by the TDP.
As per reports, TDP chief Chandrababu will be announcing the first list of 50 MLA candidates after this Dasara. Also, the full-fledged manifest of TDP will be announced in correspondence with the same.
It is understood that the 19 sitting MLAs are confirmed to get the MLA tickets for the coming election. Will the list of the 50 MLAs include these 19 candidates? We shall wait and see.
Naidu has reportedly held multiple surveys to confirm the candidates this time around and there was little to no room for recommendations. The list was purely finalized based on the merit of the candidate and the survey reports that were delivered.
Following the announcement of the candidates, TDP will immediately commence a mass outreach program with Chandrababu’s Bus Yatra and also the Saradhi program, as a part of which 6 lakh individuals will be deployed by TDP to gather public data regarding schemes and their problems. This will be a solid platform for TDP to materialize on before the next election.
