One of the miraculous electoral verdicts in Andhra Pradesh came from Gajuwaka this time around. The TDP candidate here Palla Srinivasa Rao won the assembly segment by a whopping majority of 95K+ votes which is the highest ever tally in the history of Andhra Pradesh.

After this record breaking win, Palla appears to be in for another major treat as he is reportedly in contention for the TDP top spot.
According to the latest reports, Palla Srinivasa Rao could be named as the new president of the Telugu Desam Party.

With the sitting president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu being inducted into the cabinet, there is the need to replace him. Given the caste equations, the TDP high command reportedly feels it is best to field a BC candidate.
And in that case, whom better to trust than Palla who made the party proud by winning the Gajuwaka assembly segment by an all time record majority. The chances are that he could be named the TDP president soon.

Earlier in the election, Palla, a regular TDP candidate won against cabinet minister Gudivada Amarnath in Gajuwaka by an all time record margin. He is likely to be more than fairly rewarded for the same.
