Allu Arjun’s arrest has been the topic of nationwide discussion over the past few hours. The Pushpa star was arrested earlier today by the Chikkadpally police in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede issue.

However, several reports are attributing a political angle to the incident. A section of people claims that Allu Arjun’s arrest has more to do with his recent failure to mention CM Revanth Reddy’s name during the success meet of Pushpa 2, than the Sandhya Theatre issue.

Amidst the ongoing social media uproar, BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) criticized the arrest and called it an insecure act by CM Revanth Reddy.

He stated that if Allu Arjun is being held responsible for the stampede, then Revanth Reddy should also be accountable for the deaths of two innocent people caused by the fear psychosis allegedly created by the government’s agency, HYDRAA.

KTR posted on X, sharing a quote: “An Insecure Leader will always sabotage the people around them. #RonCarpenter.” Alongside this, he wrote, “The arrest of National Award-winning star Allu Arjun is the pinnacle of insecurity of the rulers! I totally sympathize with the victims of the stampede, but who really failed?”

He further added, “Treating @alluarjun Garu as a common criminal is uncalled for, especially for something he isn’t directly responsible for. There is always space for respect and dignified conduct. I strongly condemn the high-handed behaviour of the government.”

KTR went on to say, “Going by the same perverse logic, Revanth Reddy should be arrested for causing the death of two innocent people in Hyderabad due to the fear psychosis caused by HYDRAA.”

As per the latest updates, Chikkadpally police took Allu Arjun to Osmania Hospital for medical examinations. The police have also requested the court to allow them to place Allu Arjun in remand. Meanwhile, court proceedings regarding the case are expected to begin shortly.
