Janasena forged an alliance with BJP after the 2019 elections’ defeat. Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly a bigger face than all of the BJP leaders combined in Andhra Pradesh.
But then, BJP leadership did not treat him as such. Pawan Kalyan is yet to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the alliance.
He met Amit Shah only once and that too after two years of the alliance. He got an invitation to PM Modi’s Bhimavaram visit at the last minute recently and Pawan Kalyan did not go.
The relations between BJP and Janasena are strained. At this juncture, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had invited Junior NTR for a dinner meeting today.
The Home Minister is said to be impressed with NTR’s performance in RRR.
Mega fans are angry that Amit Shah and Modi did not give due respect to their own ally but are over-acting in the case of NTR.
The fact that Amit Shah did not invite Ram Charan, another star in RRR angers them even more.
If at all, Amit Shah pushes NTR’s name for Oscar nominations from India, it will irk them further.
In a way, this meeting has put a full stop to their propaganda that NTR is the side hero in RRR while Charan is the real hero.
