Janasena supporters often say that the alliance is important only for the Telugu Desam Party. They believe TDP will be finished by Jagan if lost in this election and they will make merry afterwards with no opposition.
But then, there is an important message from Pawan Kalyan to Janasainiks in his speech today.
“If Jagan is only after Telugu Desam Party and will leave us, I may contest independently. His quality is as such, he does not spare anyone. But Jagan is someone who does not spare his own sister,” Pawan Kalyan said.
This election is more important to Janasena than TDP.
Political experts have been writing political obituaries for TDP many times like this. But every time, TDP rose from the ashes like a Phoenix.
Troubles will be more with someone like Jagan but the party will fight to survive another term even if it loses.
But that may not be the case with Janasena. The party has no mechanism at the ground level and it is impossible for a party to survive without power for three terms. Jagan will try to engulf the party if he wins.
So, Janasainiks should come out of the illusion that the alliance is important only for TDP and they have no stakes whatsoever.
