Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who recently switched from YSRCP to TDP, is facing difficulty in finalizing his constituency for the upcoming elections.
Anam has previously won from both Atmakuru and Venkatagiri constituencies, and he currently holds the position of MLA from Venkatagiri.
TDP is reportedly offering Anam the Atmakur constituency, but adjusting to this proposal is proving challenging, given that TDP already has another strong leader, Kurugondala Ramakrishna, in Venkatagiri.
Kurugondala Ramakrishna, a former MLA from Venkatagiri, represented TDP in the constituency twice, but he was defeated in the last election.
Initially, it was anticipated that Anam would contest from Atmakuru, his previous constituency. However, recent developments suggest that Anam is now showing interest in Venkatagiri.
This has created uncertainty and confusion within the party.
Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has been less active in recent days, and there are reports that he is dissatisfied with the ticket allocation process.
In response to his dissatisfaction, Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of TDP, is said to have sent a message offering the Venkatagiri constituency to Anam.
The situation has created suspense regarding the constituency that will be allotted to Kurugondala Ramakrishna.
On the other hand, YSRCP has already finalized its candidate for the Venkatagiri constituency, the son of former Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy.
