Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the Young Indian Skill University at Mucharla in Ranga Reddy district.

Now, he has announced that the popular billionaire businessman and Chairman of the Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, will be the chairperson of this university.
After laying the foundation stone for the skill university on August 1, Revanth Reddy met Anand Mahindra the next day. However, the reason behind their meeting wasn’t announced.

During his ongoing USA tour, Revanth Reddy finally announced the news of appointing Anand Mahindra as the university’s chairman. He said that Anand Mahindra will take charge in a couple of days.
The skill university will provide various skill development courses to the youngsters and provide them with certificates.

The government stated that the university would help Telangana youngsters in getting better job opportunities.
The government of Telangana is planning to make the region around the university a new city with world-class infrastructure. Pharma Hub and an International Cricket Stadium would also be constructed in the area.
Speaking at a meeting in New York, Revanth Reddy said that the government is planning to divide the Telangana state into three layers.
The first layer is the Urban Region (Hyderabad area within the Outer Ring Road), the second layer is the Semi-Urban Region (area between the Outer Ring Road and Regional Ring Road) and the third layer is the Rural Region (areas beyond Regional Ring Road).
He said the government is ready to invite all kinds of investments in Telangana and assured its full support.
