Since the last few days, Andhra Pradesh politics have found a new topic in the form of Professor Nageshwar Rao. This Senior Media personality made a vague comment recently by implying that Pawan Kalyan approached Union home Minister, Amit Shah to get Jagan Reddy arrested.
This backfired badly and Nageshwar Rao even took back his comments saying they are from misinformed sources. However, the police case file against him to this effect is still active.
Adding to the intensity, certain media channels reported today that Nageshwar Rao House in Hyderabad was under police radar and he could be taken into custody anytime.
However, this was quickly gunned down by the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Anitha. She clarified that there is no truth in this matter as she shared a new message on social media.
“We strongly condemn the fake news circulating on social media claiming that the AP Police visited Prof. Nageswar Garu’s residence in Hyderabad to arrest him. Strict legal and police action will be taken against anyone fabricating or spreading such misinformation with malicious intent.” The home Minister pointed out on Twitter earlier.
It turns out to be that this was a fabricated media narrative that was built by YCP handles to create a scene out of nothing. The height of media tenacity is to be observed here as it is evident that Telugu politics are on a new level altogether as everything can be made into a news piece here.
