AP Minister's Celebrations Kills A 8 Months-Old BabyThe police stopped an auto with a baby battling life from going to the hospital to facilitate the rally for a minister. The parents allege that their daughter lost her life due to untimely treatment.

The incident took place at Kalyanadurgam. According to the victim’s family members, Ganesh, a native of Cherlapalli in Chitoor, gave birth to a daughter 8 months ago.

On Friday evening the baby fell seriously ill. They brought the baby to Kalyanadurgam an auto. A huge rally was organized to welcome the Local MLA Usha Sricharan who came the first time to the town after taking charge as a minister.

Police stopped the vehicle at Brahmayyagudi in the suburbs as part of security. They took the help of a motorcyclist and reached the hospital on another route. But doctors said they are late.

The parents lamented that their baby would have survived if the police did not stop them. The baby’s uncle Prashant alleged that the ambulance also did not arrive in time.

They tried to stage a protest on the road with the baby but the police did not allow them.

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Former Minister Lokesh condemned the behavior of the minister and the police on Twitter.
