However, the Andhra Pradesh government is particularly against this betting culture that has been going up at a very alarming rate.
In a breakthrough development, the Andhra Pradesh Police have reportedly detained 15 individuals in the Guntur region who had been indulging in sports betting.
This group which is operated by an individual was primarily communicating through a special design designed application for IPL betting. They had been in operation since the start of the season and had been collecting money from common folk who are indulging in IPL gambling.
This group was detained by Andhra Pradesh Police today, and this was followed by a serious warning by the department. It was said that the department has a close eye on the gambling and sports betting activities.
Not just the dealers and bookies, but also the public who indulge in this gambling activity face the Police action. This is going to be a pretty serious offence and could even land the individual in jail.
This is a public statutory warning from the police department, not just in Andhra Pradesh, but also another states. Any form of gambling and betting is prohibited in the country and moreover, the kind of negative effects it can have on your personal life are almost irreparable, so beware of the same.
