Andhra Pradesh is contemplating to approach Supreme Court over the division of assets and liabilities in institutions in Schedule 10 of the Reorganisation Act. Despite getting a favourable judgement from Supreme, neither Telangana nor Center are open in co-operating in the division much to the disappointment

According to the Supreme’s directive, Center should intervene and solve the issue in two months. But the first meeting in this regard ended inconclusive. As per the two months time frame, Center should be solving the contentious issues by August 8th. AP wants to wait till then and approach Supreme Court once again.
Andhra Pradesh wants to settle the transfer by October as it is moving its administration from Hyderabad to Amaravati. There are 142 institutions under this section and they are valued at 25000 Crore according to the market value. If the meeting resolves the issue as per the court directive, Andhra Pradesh will have a breather from its severe financial crisis.
