The Andhra Pradesh government has officially initiated the release of the first installment of the highly anticipated “Annadata Sukhibhava” scheme, seamlessly bundled alongside the central government’s PM-Kisan funds.
Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu announced that a massive total of ₹3,125 crore is being directly disbursed into the bank accounts of lakhs of eligible farmers across the state via Direct Benefit Transfer.
This major financial injection marks a pivotal execution milestone for the newly formed administration, fulfilling one of its most prominent pre-election agrarian promises to support the farming community ahead of the crucial agricultural season.
Under this integrated welfare framework, the combined funds are designed to provide immediate capital relief to agricultural families, helping them cover the initial costs of seeds, fertilizers, and land preparation.
The Agriculture Minister emphasized that the administration is fully committed to ensuring transparent, middleman-free distribution, with the system systematically verifying beneficiary data to eliminate any technical delays.
By syncing the state’s flagship welfare initiative with the central PM-Kisan rollout, the government aims to maximize financial security for small and marginal landholders, laying down a strong foundation to boost rural productivity and strengthen the state’s agrarian economy.
