Former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy once again expressed his disappointment about Jagan and sounded uncomfortable with the Government.
“I know Congress will win Telangana. I placed a bet for 50 Lakh Rupees. But my son wants BRS to win. He toured the entire Telangana and said BRS would win. He even said if BRS wins Telangana, YSR Congress will win Andhra. I canceled 50 Lakhs Bet to make my son happy even though I know I will win,” Balineni said.
“Me and my son like Jagan Mohan Reddy a lot. But Jagan should also like us,” he added.
Leaving aside everything, one should understand the statement – ‘YSR Congress will win Andhra Pradesh if BRS wins Telangana’.
This is the assumption of everyone in YSR Congress but it backfired badly. Everyone is tensed about the result and is now worried about what will happen to them in Andhra Pradesh in four months.
YSR Congress is of the assumption that they are akin to BRS in giving welfare schemes and both of them do not have defeat.
So, the result came as a rude shock to them.
“YSR Congress realized that freebies do not guarantee a win. BRS even did development but that is not the case with YSR Congress. So, they are very much worried. Leaders like Balineni who is Jagan’s relative speaking in a tone of worry is an indication. Many leaders will not even contest 2024,” Political Experts say.
