These days, long queues can be seen in front of water tankers and RO water plants as people struggle to access water. The scarcity has disrupted daily life, with some IT employees unable to commute to the office and opting to stay home to obtain water.

Many videos have surfaced on social media showcasing the challenges that are being faced by the public to obtain water.

Many tech companies have also implemented work-from-home options, prompting some employees to relocate to their hometowns to work remotely.

To handle the water crisis, residential communities and apartment societies have implemented water rationing measures, restricting usage to specific quantities. Some families are spending up to Rs. 500 per day to secure an adequate water supply.

Meanwhile, the local residents attribute the water scarcity to rapid urbanization, bad water management, and poor planning by the government. They requested the government to implement effective measures to ensure enough access to water for all citizens.
