Big Twist in Phone Tapping Case

As the case is progressing, new details are seeing light in Telangana phone tapping case. One of the main accused in the case, Praneeth Rao gave a statement that the phone taps started way back in 2018.

Praneeth Rao said thousands of phones were tapped in 4 years. He gave a testimony that he copied the entire data into a pen drive and gave it to SIB chief Prabhakar Rao.

However, Praneeth Rao maintained that he was not sure as to who Prabhakar Rao gave the pen drive to. Based on this information, SIT is investigating both of them separately.

SIT is trying to figure out to whom Prabhakar Rao gave the pen drive to.

It is known that Praneeth Rao had revealed that a list of BRS rivals was prepared with a special tool, provided by a private company. He had said 17 computers and special servers were used in the operation.




It is obvious that both the accused haven’t disclosed to whom the final data was given till now. The SIT is planning to inquire both Praneeth Rao and Prabhakar Rao together soon.
