TG Money In Bihar Election, Revanth Reddy Too Bad!

Bihar is set to play a decisive role in the upcoming elections. The State Assembly polls are likely to be held in October or November, with the Election Commission expected to announce the schedule next month.

This election carries high stakes for both the BJP and the Congress, especially after Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP and the Election Commission of ‘Vote Chori’. The outcome will shape the political atmosphere for the coming years.

Regional parties are also expected to influence the results significantly. Congress, meanwhile, is banking on a favourable verdict and is making efforts to corner the BJP.

Reports suggest the party is mobilising resources from states where it is in power. For example, the Revanth Reddy-led Telangana Government is running paper advertisements in Bihar showcasing its achievements.

These ads are viewed as an indirect marketing strategy to attract Bihar voters towards Congress. The message being conveyed is that voting for Congress could bring similar schemes and governance models seen in Telangana.

Interestingly, these ads may not be counted as part of Congress’s election expenses in Bihar. The Opposition BRS Party has strongly criticised this, accusing Congress of wasting public money.

“తెలంగాణ వనరులను, ధనాన్ని దోచుకుని ఢిల్లీ బాసులకు ఊడిగం చేసే ఈ సన్నాసులా తెలంగాణ ప్రయోజనాలను కాపాడేది?,” the party posted on its official X account.

Critics say such practices could damage the image of Revanth Reddy’s government. Many believe Congress-led states often act too submissive towards their central leadership in Delhi.

In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, the National Democratic Alliance secured 125 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan won 110 seats out of the 243 total.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch development projects worth Rs 13,000 crore on Friday. These projects will cover health, the power sector, urban development, infrastructure and road construction.
