Telangana CM Revanth Reddy criticised the Centre for ignoring repeated pleas to supply urea for farmers in Telangana. He said Union Ministers who should demand fertiliser are instead busy praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Revanth Reddy also targeted BRS MPs, saying they are missing when farmers need their voice in Parliament. He questioned why they can create noise over small issues in local gallis but remain silent before Modi. He asked if it was fear or respect.
Meanwhile, Congress MPs staged a dharna in front of Parliament, demanding urea supply for Telangana. They alleged that the central government is diverting urea to BJP-ruled states. Priyanka Gandhi joined the protest in support of the farmers.
Revanth Reddy later posted on X, accusing the Modi government of ignoring Telangana’s needs. He also thanked Priyanka Gandhi for standing with his government and exposing what he called the Centre’s unfair attitude towards the state.
