Janasena President Pawan Kalyan will be attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Public Meeting at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on the 7th of this month. This is the first campaign meeting of Modi after the election notification.
Pawan Kalyan and Narendra Modi will be sharing the stage in a public meeting for the first time since 2014. That was before Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister.
Both parties parted ways in 2018 over the Special Status issue and allied with each other after the 2019 elections.
Between 2014 and 2018 and between 2019 and till date, Pawan Kalyan never hesitated to show the highest regard to Narendra Modi but the same is not reciprocated from the other side.
Pawan Kalyan was able to get the Prime Minister’s appointment only once during this period forgetting about sharing the same stage.
Even when tried, he was sent only to JP Nadda or Amit Shah.
Despite having an alliance, BJP state leaders also insulted Pawan Kalyan during 2019 and 2023.
AP BJP had its own strategy in contesting by-elections and working on the ground. While Pawan Kalyan always stood against Jagan, the BJP under Somu Veerraju was always in favor of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Even the Central Government always favored Jagan by ensuring loans out of FRBM limits, slowing down disproportionate assets cases, and saving Avinash Reddy in the YS Viveka case.
Telangana BJP used to insult saying that they have nothing to do with Janasena. They further insulted Janasena by asking for its support without its contest. It happened in the GHMC elections and they initially wanted the same in the Assembly elections.
Now, they are giving a handful of seats to Janasena with a plan. The seats are handpicked in a way that Janasena will eat into Congress votes and help the BRS party.
BJP will once again dump Janasena after the elections. The alliance may not even exist for the Parliament elections.
They would even try to create disturbances between TDP and Janasena saying that TDP did not transfer its vote to Janasena candidates in Telangana.
Meanwhile, the BJP is still on Jagan’s side in Andhra Pradesh. They may contest independently while providing all support to Jagan behind the scenes and that would mean a big roadblock to Pawan Kalyan’s interests.
Now, on November 7th, Narendra Modi will tell a word or two about Pawan Kalyan. The Janasena President as in the past will become flamboyant and shower praises on the Prime Minister and also campaign aggressively for the BJP.
BJP will dump Pawan Kalyan after the elections and will even blame his Andhra connection for their defeat.
Time and again, BJP is cheating Pawan Kalyan by ignoring him and by flattering him when they need. Once again, Pawan Kalyan fell for it.
