Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy welcomed Chandrababu Naidu with violence in Punganur. The constituency resembled a war zone as YSR Congress cadres instigated the TDP cadre and later the retaliation happened.
At one point, stones were pelt even on the former Chief Minister who was a Z-Plus Category protectee. If not for the NSG commandos, YSR Congress cadres would not have hesitated to attack Naidu.
TDP says they have no hope that local police would stop them.
Chandrababu was also seen daring the unruly cadres of the ruling party and stood by his own cadre saying that he is going to stand by come what may. YSR Congress and its affiliated Blue Media are trying to use this to their benefit.
They have been writing stories about how Naidu with 40 Years of experience in Politics was abetting violence.
The local SP also says it was TDP cadres who planned and attacked the police.
If we assume, it was TDP cadres who attacked the police and the police resorted only to a minor lathi charge, why do we see YSR Congress cadres in the videos?
Who attacked TDP cadres if YSR Congress cadres did not do anything and the Police did only a minor Lathi Charge?
If the issue is only between the TDP cadre and the Police, who pelted stones at Chandrababu?
The role of YSR Congress cadres is completely erased in the versions of the police as well as the Blue Media.
Nara Lokesh was on the ground for many months now and Chandrababu Naidu did many tours in the last few months. Why did the violence happen only in Punganur? The violence did not happen in the areas where TDP is strong.
Meanwhile, Blue Media expects and hopes Chandrababu will be silent even if he and his party cadres are attacked.
They want Chandrababu to remain silent and follow the rule book as he has been doing for four decades so that the TDP cadres can be scared before the elections.
Since that did not happen, they are shedding crocodile tears saying how Naidu with 40 Years of experience in Politics was abetting violence.
Not a single such violent incident happened during Chandrababu’s tenure, but such incidents have become common in the last four years. So people will easily judge who is at fault. Blue Media better not worry!
