Breach Medak Fort, BRS Will Collapse!

KCR Revanth Reddy

For the first time after the bifurcation, BRS is sitting in the Opposition. Suddenly the party that has been in power for ten years is looking down the barrel and very vulnerable. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is keen on decimating BRS to get a grip on the state.

We already saw the second-level leaders of BRS joining Congress while the MLAs started meeting Revanth Reddy. The Chief Minister is likely to start inducting the BRS MLAs after the Parliament Elections

BRS internal surveys are painting a sorrowful picture of the upcoming election. As of today, the party stands a chance only in Medak.

There are reports that BRS is looking for an alliance with the BJP to tide over this crisis.

On the other side, Revanth Reddy is keen to breach the Medak fort of BRS to further weaken the party. Previously, KCR, Vijayashanti, and Aele Narendra won as Medak MPs with Record Majorities. In 2019, Kotha Prabhakar Reddy from BRS won with a majority of 3,16,427 votes.

Sangareddy, Patancheru, Narsapur, Medak, Gajwel, Siddipet, and Dubbaka assembly constituencies are under the Medak parliamentary constituency. Even in the recent Assembly elections, BRS won six out of the seven constituencies under Medak.

BRS is strong in Medak mainly because of Siddipet followed by Gajwel. These two constituencies belonging to Harish Rao and KCR are making a big difference.

Mynamapally Hanumantha Rao is likely to be the Congress candidate from Medak. He is a cash cow and already started working in Siddipet, Dubbaka, and Gajwel.

He feels there is a chance in Gajwel as KCR won with a slender margin recently. And if Dubbaka is breached and if he can bring down the majority in Siddipet, Medak’s seat is easy, Mynampally opines.

Medak is anyway a Congress seat. His son, Mynampally Rohit is the MLA there. In Patancheru, Congress recently admitted Neelam Madhu who can influence the crucial voters of the Mudhiraj community there.

In Narasapur, BRS MLA Sunitha Lakshma Reddy met CM Revanth Reddy a few days ago. If her group also works for Congress, getting a majority there is not difficult. BRS won this constituency with just 8,855 votes majority in recent Assembly elections.

Sangareddy anyway is a strong constituency for Congress but the party lost here with a slender margin of 8217 votes mainly because of anti-incumbency on sitting MLA.

So, the focus is mainly on Siddipet, Dubbaka, and Gajwel. Already there is a talk in the ground that even Medak is not going to be easy for the BRS.

Revanth Reddy believes if the Medak Fort is Breached, BRS will collapse. Let us see if he can achieve that sensational feat!
