After an elongated wait of over 5 years, Kodi Kathi Srinivas, the accused in Jagan’s Kodi Kathi issue has been issued the bail by Andhra Pradesh High Court.
The case got stalled as the main victim in the case YS Jagan skipped multiple hearings at the court. So Srinu’s family had been fighting for bail at the NIA court and lastly, at the High Court.
The High Court verified the hard facts in the case and issued a conditional bail to Srinu. The conditions are such that he must avoid speaking about the case on public platforms. He was granted conditional bail and will be stepping out of jail very soon.
Srinu had been kept in jail since 2018 with the case not progressing ahead. After the long wait, he managed to present his case effectively and the High Court granted him the bail.
Incidentally, Srinu went to jail just months before the 2019 elections and he is coming out of jail just months before the 2024 election.
