The Congress high command, through KC Venugopal publicly announced that Revanth Reddy is the new CLP leader.
Revanth Reddy will be swearing in as the chief minister of Telangana on December 7th at the Raj Bhavan.
Congress contemplated the choice for the CM for two days after the results came out on 3 December, and after multiple rounds of discussion and calculation, Revanth has now won the CM race.
After leading a winning campaign in Telangana, Revanth Reddy has been rewarded handsomely by the Congress top brass as he managed to get ahold of the coveted CM post.
