Cartoonist Sridhar who revolutionized the concept of Political cartoons in Eenadu for over 40 years parted ways with the media house in 2021. Eenadu moved forward continuing cartoons with other cartoonists.
There are speculations things fell out between Sridhar and the management.
Back then, there were rumors he will join some other organization. Given his reputation, it is a no-brainer that every Newspaper will open the door for him.
It’s been close to one and a half years since then, and Sridhar did not take any steps. Neither he made any comment about the parting.
He did not join any organization. He is keeping busy on social media. He makes cartoons now and then.
He also runs a YouTube Channel where he analyzes news and also takes classes about how to make cartoons.
The channel or his social media accounts are not garnering traction on par with his reputation.
But Sridhar seems to be enjoying this phase and probably this is his Retirement plan.
