The other day, A Gujarat University announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi passed MA degree in distant course scoring 62.3 per cent marks. However Congress leader, Digvijay Singh unearthed an old video of Narendra Modi in which the Prime Minister himself admitted he is only 10th pass.

In the video, Narendra Modi is seen saying, “I just studied till high school level”. Digvijay Singh demanded Modi to come clean on his education qualification. The video is a part of interview taken by then journalist Rajeev Shukla on his show Rubaru. If it is proven that Modi is lying about his education, he may be even disqualified.
But that is unlikely to happen as well all know. Incidentally, there are also allegations on the educational qualifications of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son, Vice President, Rahul Gandhi. It is no crime to be not completing a degree, but our leaders should be openly admitting that.
