YS Jagan Mohan Reddy organized two public meetings in Vishakapatnam and Denduluru as a Display of Strength. Being in power, the YSR Congress is misusing everything to congregate people in big numbers and show that as strength and make these ‘Siddham’ meetings a success.
Using money, muscle, and power, people are being forcibly brought from neighboring constituencies to make them big.
The next meeting will be in Anantapur and YSR Congress is planning to make it even bigger since Rayalaseema is the home turf of Jagan.
However they do, these meetings are often useful to change public perception in favor of the party. It will give the impression that the party has great support from the people.
On the other side, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are wasting so much time in the seat-sharing.
TDP has the experience of organizing big meetings like Yuvagharjana in 2008. It is the biggest public meeting in both the states to date.
Also, Pawan Kalyan is a crowd-puller among the youth. TDP and Janasena should organize common meetings like Yuvagharjana to counter Siddham meetings.
The joint meetings have been told for a long time but did not happen except for the one marking the end of Lokesh’s Padayatra.
They should immediately consider having one such mega meeting and nullify the impact of Siddham meetings if any.
