The meeting of Senior officials of both the Telugu States with Union Home Ministry officials regarding the division of assets and liabilities of the institutions present in Section 9 and 10 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act did not yield in any results. Andhra Pradesh officials brought to the notice of the center that Telangana did not respond to their trials for division, as per Supreme court directives.

Telangana government said its Chief Secretary recently wrote a letter to his AP counterpart. Andhra Pradesh brought to the notice of this issue to the center on 6th of this month and wants it to resolve in two months as per the court directive. But Telangana clarified that it had filed a review petition and wants to maintain status quo till it gets a judgement.
Andhra Pradesh did not buy this argument. They said Telangana government filed this review petition on April 18th but is yet to be admitted by the Supreme Court. It also reminded how Supreme court did not issue any stay on the division. They served an ultimatum to the center that they have to go to court if the issue is not resolved in two months. The meeting ended inconclusive.
