Entire country is suffering due to the problems of land acquisition. Governments have to acquire lands from private persons or parties for development of projects and problems arise due to the compensation given in those cases. However Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu wants to avoid these headaches and devised a plan to avoid issues.
Mr.Naidu says there is a necessity to acquire land for the state capital and the land would be acquired from private parties in the ratio of compensation for 60 per cent of the land and suitable land at an alternative place in lieu of the remaining 40 per cent. This will be a win-win situation for both the government and the land owners as the latter can get a high price for the land given to them in view of the increase in prices near the emerging capital. He also said if land acquisition still becomes difficult, the government will see for alternate places for the state capital.
