CBN In Patna, Jagan In Nampally CBI Court

Chandrababu and Jagan political contrast scene

Karma has its own style, and you see that on social media today. A couple of years ago, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and jailed for more than 50 days in Rajahmundry Central Jail. People viewed it as a clear vendetta by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Fortunes changed in the 2024 elections. Voters delivered a clear verdict. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dropped to eleven seats, while the Chandrababu Naidu-led alliance rose to 164 seats in the Assembly. The political equation flipped overnight.

Chandrababu Naidu is now the Chief Minister once again. Jagan Mohan Reddy does not even hold the Leader of the Opposition status. Their positions in public life stand miles apart compared to two years ago.

Today, Chandrababu Naidu attended Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony in Patna. He sat beside Home Minister Amit Shah, who is the second most powerful man in the country after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The visual carried heavy political weight.

At the same time, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was in Hyderabad to attend the Nampally CBI Court. Amid loud scenes from party supporters, he reached the court and remained there for about 30 minutes. The contrast did not go unnoticed.

People on social media pointed out how fate shaped different paths for both leaders within two years. YSR Congress supporters highlighted the big crowds that greeted Jagan Mohan Reddy. They also pointed to the high YouTube viewership of his programs.

For Jagan, the expectations of his fans remain very low, and that works in his favour. Rumours say YSR Congress carried out heavy crowd mobilisation for his Nampally CBI Court visit. They wanted to show that his court appearances need large police deployment.

The plan aims to strengthen Jagan’s argument for exemption from personal appearance if the court insists. YSR Congress handled the mobilisation carefully. Leaders like Perni Nani stayed in Hyderabad for the last few days and supervised the arrangements.
