Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is gearing up to table the last full-fledged budget before 2019 elections. The Budget in 2019 will be obviously an interim budget. The Budget session of the Assembly will begin from February end.

It is going to be a populistic budget catering to the needs of various sections of the society. Chandrababu Naidu who is back from his Maldives Vacation will be holding preparatory meetings in the next couple of months to prepare the Election Budget.
10,000 crore was spent beyond the allocation of the Budget 2017-18 for departments like panchayat raj, irrigation, and agriculture. Emphasis will be on these departments in the next budget as well. With crucial challenges like Polavaram and Amaravati, it will be very difficult striking the balance.
