The other day, Telugu Desam Party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu had announced that all the nineteen MLA who won in 2019 and did not change Party will be given ticket once again.
That means Chandrababu had confirmed tickets to nineteen candidates at one go. There is a chance that Ganta Srinivasa Rao may opt to change his seat like he usually does. But for others, their seats are confirmed.
Besides this nineteen seats, Chandrababu already confirmed candidates in nine other seats in the last few months. In the internal surveys of TDP, the party has clear chances of winning 23 out of these 28 seats.
TDP has an edge in two other seats while YSR Congress is winning three other seats like Punganur, Markapuram and Vishaka North.
The anti-incumbency on the Ruling establishment is clearly helping TDP across the state, the party’s surveys predict. Chandrababu is planning to confirm all the candidates for 175 seats in a couple of months.
