In a unique interaction during the state’s Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM 4.0) at the Government High School and Junior College in Rampachodavaram, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu temporarily stepped into the shoes of an educator to test student engagement with interactive learning technologies.
Accompanied by HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, the Chief Minister visited a modern digital classroom to personally assess how technology is reshaping rural public education.
Using an interactive smart panel connected to the state’s LEAP educational portal, CM Naidu conducted a live multiple-choice quiz covering Social Science and Geography topics.
Sitting among students who answered questions via digital handheld clickers, Naidu tracked real-time responses and leaderboard rankings on his tablet and the digital board.
He actively engaged with the classroom, praising high scorers for quick response times, encouraging students who needed follow-up practice, and explaining key concepts like India’s coastline and physical features directly on the screen.
The interactive session served as a live demonstration of the state’s push to integrate digital infrastructure across tribal and rural government schools.
Addressing educators and parents afterward, the Chief Minister highlighted that digital smart boards and real-time learning metrics build foundational clarity and allow students in remote regions to compete on equal footing with private school peers.
