Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu was conspicuous by his absence at Arjun Tendulkar’s marriage to Saaniya Chandok. Instead HR & IT Minister Lokesh was present at the wedding with wife Brahmani.
But Chandrababu showed he loved cricket as much as any true-bred Indian by sharing a late night post on social media about the T20 semi-final match between India and England.
Chandrababu not just wished team India success in the final match to be played with New Zealand, the AP CM wished Sanju Samson and Shivam Dubey for their brilliant innings. He also congratulated Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya for their bowling and Axar Patel for his excellent fielding.
On one hand, the CM is busy with various developmental activities and the several controversies involving YSRCP leaders. Still, Chandrababu displayed his love for the Indian team and the nation by taking time out to post about cricket.
The Andhra Pradesh government is planning for a huge cricket stadium in Amaravati area and Nara Lokesh already announced that he will go to watch the T20 final match if India reaches the finals.
