TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu recently got relief in the multiple cases that were filed against him by the AP CID. Now the focus is on the quash petition that has been filed by Babu at the Supreme Court.
The apex court had already completed the hearings on the quash petition filed by the TDP boss on the 20th of October itself and kept the judgment on reserve.
The latest news is that the apex court is set to announce the verdict on the quash petition filed by Chandrababu on the 16th of this month. After a fair bit of delay in the announcement of the verdict, the Supreme Court is set to announce the same this coming Tuesday.
The bench comprising of Justice Anirudha Bose and Justice Bela Trivedi will be announcing the verdict on the quash petition filed by CBN on the said date.
If the SC quashes the FIRs filed against Naidu, all the cases filed by the CID will be gone for good and it will be overwhelmingly clear that YCP used CID to falsely arrest Naidu in the case. This could come back to haunt YCP in the election.
