Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had decided to revamp the administrative structure in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). He urged his own intelligence team to assess the performance of the Team of Bureaucrats-2014 (ToB-2014), presently engaged in CMO’s day-to-day administration.

Basing on this report, Naidu will finalize the list of IAS officers to be placed in the CMO. TTD executive officer (EO) Dr D. Sambasiva Rao is said to be in contention while Principal Secretary Ajay Jain (Energy, CRDA and I&I) and West Godavari collector Bhaskar Katamaneni are also in consideration.
One or two existing officers will be given postings outside the CMO. The exercise is aimed at bringing out more transparency and speedy disposal of files at the CMO. Naidu is keen on bringing senior officials into the team and bring down the too much interference of the consultants in the routine administration.
