The traditional Governor Speech at the start of the Andhra Pradesh budget session carried some inherent message to the center as well as the opposition. The government through the governor mentioned hinted about inadequate Center’s help to the truncated state. Governor reminded how the Center only gave 2600 Crore out of the total 17000 Crore revenue deficit.

The governor also reiterated that the government is committed to give reservations to Kapu community with out causing damage to the BCs. Mudhragada Padmanabham is demanding a written assurance from the Chief Minister about that. Including in the governor’s speech is considered even bigger than what he sought.
The governor speech also included the government’s commitment to Runa Mafi, completion of major irrigation projects, 7 hours free power to farmers etc. Fearing of possible suspensions, YSR Congress members did not try to interrupt Governor’s speech. At most they confined to object in couple of occasions and that too only standing in their places.
