Jagan Mohan Reddy bagged the biggest shock and humiliation of his life in the recent elections.
Falling from a historic 151 seats to a paltry eleven, this is as shameful as it can get for any political leader. It is a bigger shock for a self-centric leader like Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Jagan is in neck-deep trouble right now. Not only does Chandrababu have humongous power in the state assembly, but he also has a say over the Central Government as the NDA Government is dependent on his sixteen MPs.
However, he is hopeful that his eleven MPs in Rajya Sabha will save his skin as his support may be needed to pass some crucial bills.

But then, Nine BJP members were unanimously elected in the Rajya Sabha by-elections. With this, the NDA alliance led by the ruling BJP reached the majority mark in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. BJP’s strength has reached 96.
If seen as an alliance, the strength of NDA has reached 112. The ruling coalition also has the support of six nominated MPs and one independent member.’

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu is also decimating the Rajya Sabha support of the YSR Congress so that the eleven MPs of Jagan may not cause damage in the future.
Reports are that four Rajya Sabha MPs of the YSR Congress will be resigning very soon and will get re-elected from TDP to the same Rajya Sabha. One or two may take MLCs.
Names like Beeda Masthan Rao and Mopidevi Venkataramana are being heard.
Once the strength in Rajya Sabha is gone, Jagan Mohan Reddy becomes vulnerable. That may even tighten the cases around his noose too.
