Leader of Opposition, Chandrababu Naidu who ignored the Tirade of YSR Congress Social Media Wing against his government when in Power seems to have woke up late. He called for a Press Meet in TDP State Office in Guntur a little while ago and lambasted the Social Media wing of the YSR Congress.
Naidu showed the slides of YSR Congress’ malicious campaign on his Government from the last five years. Some of the posts have abuses hurled on Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh and other TDP leaders. He demonstrated how they have morphed some posts to show TDP in the bad light.
This explanation of the TDP Supremo may have come too late and the damage is already done, TDP supporters lament. Chandrababu Naidu brought several TDP supporters on whom the YSR Congress Government filed cases for their posts on Social Media.
The victims which also include a media reporter were paraded before the media and the victims themselves have explained how they were arrested and tortured for simple posts. TDP sources admit that they have ignored Social Media during their tenure but the counter-attack now is necessary so as to instill confidence in the party’s social media supporters.
