Chevireddy’s extensive contacts and political strategies will now be absent from the family’s arsenal. Neither the YSRCP nor his son Mohit appears fully prepared for the Chandragiri election campaign without Bhaskara Reddy’s presence.
If Bhaskara Reddy contests in Ongole, resources and loyal supporters must be redirected from Chandragiri to Ongole, causing potential difficulties and setbacks for Mohit in Chandragiri. When Bhaskara Reddy left Chandragiri and moved to Tadepalli to align with leader Jagan, the TDP ranks were excited. With the latest appointment, it appears Bhaskara Reddy may not be actively present in Chandragiri during the election, causing the TDP ranks to feel that Chandragiri YSRCP is not operating at its previous level in terms of poll management.
