The selection of candidates for the five Lok Sabha seats allotted to the BJP in the TDP-BJP alliance has been finalized. The following candidates are expected to be officially announced soon:
1. Purandeshwari from Rajahmundry
2. Satyakumar from Hindupuram
3. Sujana Chaudhary from Eluru
4. Nallari Kirankumar Reddy from Rajampet
5. CM Ramesh from Anakapalli
6. Kothapalli from Araku
It is reported that BJP has secured an additional MP seat from Janasena’s quota. While TDP allotted only five Lok Sabha seats in the alliance, BJP, in coordination with Janasena, has reportedly reached an agreement to contest one MP seat and 3-4 Assembly seats out of the 24 seats allocated to Janasena. This arrangement aims to avoid conflicts between the allies.
There were initial expectations that Narsapuram sitting MP Raghuramakrishnan Raju would contest from Narsapuram as a BJP candidate. However, in line with the alliance, Sujana Chaudhary will now contest from the Eluru seat in the same district.
Due to the limitation of giving two MP seats in the same district to a single party, it is rumored that Raghuramakrishnan Raju (RRR) may contest from Narsapuram as a TDP candidate. However, there are reports that the BJP leadership has not granted the ticket to RRR.
