Since Friday morning, there have been Media Reports that Former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi may be arrested in the attack on the Gannavaram TDP office case. The reports said three teams have gone to Hyderabad to arrest Vamsi, who has lived there since the election results.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s arrest is a significant development because the TDP cadre is big time upset with him as he is the one who initiated the disgusting comments on Nara Bhuvaneshwari. So, this has become a hot topic in the state.

In the evening, a few media houses carried reports that the Police arrested Vamsi on his way to Gannavaram from Hyderabad.
But then, Eenadu says it is not Vamsi but his close aide Yousuf Pathan got arrested.

The Department is yet to make any announcement of the arrest.
Even then, a section of Media still says Kurnool Police have arrested Vamsi and will declare the arrest any time today.

It is interesting to note that initially Sakshi also ran scrolling that Vamsi got arrested. But then, after this confusion, it has changed stance and are running stories saying – “వల్లభనేని వంశీ అరెస్ట్పై టీడీపీ తప్పుడు ప్రచారం”.
TDP cadre is disappointed about the Police Department leaving Chevireddy Mohit by giving a simple notice in a Murder Attempt case. They are disgruntled that the Government is doing nothing. Vamsi’s arrest will satisfy them.
