The main Opposition Party, Congress had called for the siege of KCR’s Pragathi Bhavan as a part of the support for RTC Strike. However, the party lacked energy and enthusiasm to make the program a success. Only two leaders – Revanth Reddy and Jagga Reddy hogged the limelight in this program.
Jagga Reddy arrived at the Pragathi Bhavan in an auto but was taken into Police custody. Revanth Reddy, on the other side, made a real effort to make the program success. The entire Police department is after Revanth Reddy but the Malkajgiri MP disappeared of their radar since yesterday.
The police kept a watch on Revanth Reddy’s residence and the houses of his followers and friends. Revanth appeared at the Pragathi Bhavan all of sudden today and marched towards the Pragathi Bhavan. He was taken into custody and by that time, he managed to touch the Pragathi Bhavan gate.
“We touched Pragathi Bhavan gate now and will break the walls of Pragathi Bhavan very soon,” Revanth warned KCR government. If only the other leaders of Congress have similar enthusiasm as Revanth Reddy, the party would have been in a better position in the state.
